What happened in One Piece Chapter 1157?
One Piece Chapter 1157 revolved around the Rocks Pirates captain, Rocks D. Xebec, and Elbaph’s King Harald.
The chapter titled “Legendary Bar” kicked off with the narrator revealing how the members of the Rocks Pirates regularly betrayed each other. However, they were always united when committing a crime. The narrator further showed King Harald, whose relationship with the World Government was strained after saving an Elbaph ally from them.
The flashback then showcased Xebec arriving in Elbaph and asking Harald to join him while having a chat at Ida’s bar. However, Harald refused his offer.
In the next scene, fans witnessed Garp at the Marine Headquarters trying to seek permission from Fleet Admiral Kong to let the Giants join the Navy. He stated that the Giants’ physical prowess would be incredibly helpful to them. But Kong lacked the authority to allow that and stated that only the World Government can give permission.
