Though it does not have a confirmed source, rumors have emerged about Joe Keery playing Harry Osborn in Spider-Man 4, a role famously played by James Franco in the past. Keery, of course, is best known for his portrayal of Steve Harrington in Stranger Things.
Fans had a mixed reaction to this, and they are still awaiting confirmation on the rumor.
Who is Sadie Sink playing?
Another rumor regarding another Stranger Things star. Sadie Sink has been attached to the project for quite a while now, but Marvel has been very careful about hiding her role in the film. Rumors now hint that Sadie’s role is of central importance to the plot and revealing it may be considered a spoiler. Hence, many have theorized that she will play Gwen Stacy in Spider-Man 4.
More villains to appear

Carrie Coon is the main villain?
As it was previously reported, the main villain for Spider-Man 4 remains a mystery. Jeff Sneider previously hinted that Carrie Coon could be the one playing the primary antagonist. But he later debunked it himself, saying that Coon had adressed it, and there was not much truth to it.
He wrote, “Finally got word back on Carrie Coon and hearing it’s not true, so the search continues for the mystery Spidey villain! Looking forward to seeing whatever her secret announcement is…”
Mr. Negative to appear?
This has been one of the most prominent rumors about Spider-Man 4. But there is little evidence to support it. Daniel Dae Kim had been fan cast as Mister Negative in Spider-Man 4. But the actor recently revealed that he hasn’t heard anything from the studio. He did, however, indicate that he will be open to the role.
