Marvel also confirmed that Secret Wars will act as a reset for the MCU, enabling new versions of characters like the X-Men to coexist with legacy heroes.

Marvel has not announced the cast for the X-Men reboot. However, the studio confirmed that Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, and Ian McKellen will reprise their roles in Avengers: Doomsday in 2026. Their appearances will not continue into the reboot, as Marvel plans to recast all roles for the new X-Men timeline.
