They met at the arcade after a student from Nagi’s school told Gurimu that the former was there. Gurimu further tells Nagi that he was heading to his school earlier to meet him. Gurimu’s sudden plan to meet Nagi raises the latter’s suspicions. Nagi then asks Gurimu about his motive for meeting him.
Igaguri urges Nagi to keep playing
The scene then shifts to Igaguri inquiring about Nagi’s plan regarding football. However, Nagi asserts that he has not yet decided on it. Gurimu confesses that his own motivation for urging Nagi is selfish—he wants to see him continue playing for personal validation. During the elimination from Blue Lock, Gurimu was pleased with the decision and happy to have gotten a chance to play as a pro footballer.
