Legendary’s live-action Street Fighter reboot has picked up the pace with its casting in recent months. Many notable actors have been tapped to play major roles in the film. Accordingly, fans wish to learn who has joined the cast. The upcoming film is based on Capcom’s popular video game franchise of the same name. The games feature intense one-on-one battles between an assortment of fighters and martial artists.

Andrew Koji will play Ryu, the film’s main protagonist. Koji’s previous acting credits include Cinemax’s Warrior, Snake Eyes, and Bullet Train.
To All the Boys breakout Noah Centineo will play Ken Masters. He is Ryu’s best friend and fellow martial artist who trained with him under the same master.
Callina Liang will essay Chun-Li, one of the main female characters of Street Fighter. Liang previously appeared in Presence and Apple TV+’s Foundation.
WWE wrestler Roman Reigns will play Akuma, regarded as one of Street Fighter’s deadliest and most powerful fighters. Reigns has previously acted in projects like Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw and Rumble.
Aquaman star Jason Momoa will play Blanka, a Hulk-like being who suffered an accident involving electric eels.
David Dastmalchian will portray M. Bison, the primary antagonist of the Street Fighter franchise. Dastmalchian has an impressive body of acting work, which includes projects like Dune and the Ant-Man films.
Rapper and actor 50 Cent will play Balrog, a boxer only concerned about money. The 49-year-old has some boxing experience from his early teens.
Country musician Orville Peck will play Vega. Peck gained attention for albums like Pony, Bronco, and Stampede.
Comedian and podcast host Andrew Schulz will play Dan Hibiki, introduced in the game Street Fighter Alpha, as a comical character with awfully weak fighting moves.
Meanwhile, Cody Rhodes is reported to be circling the role of Guile. Jean-Claude Van Damme originally played Guile in the 1994 Street Fighter movie.
