The flashback focuses on King Harald in his early days when he saved a woman named Ida. Ida is Hajrudin’s mother, according to the leaks. When Harald sees Ida working at a circus, he assumes that she is being held there. Thus, Harald launches an attack on the town to free Ida.
Harald falls in love with Ida
The flashback then shows Ida approaching Harald and telling him that she was working at the circus and was not being held there. Ida further asserts that she was doing so to express her gratitude to the people of the town for saving her. Her words impact King Harald, and he falls in love with her. Harald brings Ida to Elbaf with him and starts working on developing Elbaf through modernization. He also forms alliances with other nations.
