As we head toward the film’s release date of July 11, 2025 in the United States, some fans have been searching for news about any collectible popcorn buckets, cups, and tins that will be available at participating theaters. While we don’t have any information (yet) about these items for US theaters, particularly those for AMC, the pictures of the buckets seen online are reportedly for other countries and territories. What are the rumored Superman popcorn buckets for 2025?
There are two rumored Superman 2025 popcorn buckets for the upcoming James Gunn-directed film, one that’s reportedly for Latin America theaters and another for Australia and New Zealand.
The image above, according to user on Reddit, is apparently merchandise that is bound for theaters in Australia and New Zealand. This includes a Superman LED popcorn container shaped like the superhero’s signature logo, a blue drink cup with a cape attached to the lip, and two popcorn buckets. Looking more closely at the back of the box for the LED popcorn bucket, it has a hinged lid and has the light illuminating the translucent container from the bottom.
The second image from X is memorabilia reportedly going to theaters in Latin American territories. It includes a trio of a cup, a bag, and a wide popcorn bucket emblazoned with the Superman 2025 poster (though it looks more like a concept design). Then there are two other popcorn buckets, a red-lidded one with David Corenswet’s Superman and Krypto and a blue-lidded one featuring the logo on the front and Superman flying near the Fortress of Solitude.
A candid picture of a Superman 2025 movie cup from Cinépolis, a Mexico-based international movie theater chain, has also appeared on Reddit. It looks similar to the supposed cup going to New Zealand and Australia.
