Is the Underworld 6: Rise of the Dark Blood trailer real or fake?

The trailer for Kate Beckinsale’s Underworld 6 movie is fake, AI-generated, and fan-made.

On Saturday, May 24, 2025, Ultimate Studio, a YouTube channel known solely for its fan-generated concept trailers, unveiled its newest creation online. The trailer, starring Kate Beckinsale, has already garnered more than 593,368 views and 1.8K likes at the time of writing.

This fake trailer presents a mix of visuals created by AI, providing a new perspective on the Underworld 6 theme. The trailer features the main character, Selene (portrayed by Kate Beckinsale), being pulled back into a deadly struggle that has the potential to alter the realm of immortals permanently.

In today’s time, numerous creators are crafting concept-based trailers, igniting viewers’ curiosity. They try to animate the entire project with breathtaking CGI, making it difficult for many viewers to distinguish between the authentic and the artificial elements.

Is Kate Beckinsale returning to join Underworld 6’s cast?

As of now, Kate Beckinsale’s return is not guaranteed to join Underworld 6.

There has been no official announcement or reliable information confirming that producers have cast Beckinsale to star in the film. However, this only remains mere fan speculation coming from fake trailers. Also, there has been no confirmation from the studio producing a film titled Underworld 6: Rise of the Dark Blood.

But, during an interview with Entertainment Weekly back in 2023, director Len Wiseman confirmed there’s space in the Underworld. At this conversation, he was asked whether Underworld is back in any fashion, to which he stated, “There is a fashion that is in the works. I can’t talk about it, but there is a future to Underworld for sure.” Further, he was questioned related to this, about a talk doing an Underworld TV show back in the day, and if it’s still happening or not, to which he responded, “That’s the one I’m referring to.”
