FILMING FOR “RED SUN” IN ELIZABETH STREET SUNDAY JULY 10th and SATURDAY JULY 16
Dear Business Person, Resident,
We are producing the US feature film “Red Sun” which will be distributed by Warner Bros. “Red Sun” is being filmed entirely in NSW, with most scenes being shot locally. It is an exciting project, currently directly employing close to a thousand people in Sydney.
On Sunday July 10th and Saturday July 16th we will be filming for Red Sun in the section of Elizabeth Street between Hunter Street and King Street. On those days that section of Elizabeth Street will be
closed to through traffic from 4am to 7pm, and a Special Event Clearway will be in operation.
Also on Sunday July 10, the junction of Elizabeth and King Streets will also be closed from 4am to Warn. only. This closure will include King Street from Castlereagh Street to Phillip Street, and Elizabeth Street from King Street to St. James Road. After Warn. King Street, between Elizabeth Street and Phillip Street will remain closed until 7pm. – access to this section of Phillip Street will be available all day from Hunter Street.
