Word from sources indicate that the Daily Planet is going to be in
art deco style for director Bryan Singer’s Superman, starring Brandon Routh.
Located in Metropolis, the Daily Planet is considered one of the foremost newspapers in the world. Clark Kent, who lives a double life as Superman, is a journalist for the paper and has a reputation for getting many of the stories about the superhero.
This latest bit follows the news that the production has started working on Kent farm exteriors and interiors, the Daily Planet offices, and other mysterious sets.
Warner Bros. Pictures is set to start filming Superman on March 1st in Australia.
