Titan Books and Heroic Signatures have enjoyed great success since acquiring the Conan the Barbarian license in 2023. Beyond publishing comics with the savage hero, they have also sought to present new tales with other characters created by Robert E. Howard. All of these legendary characters are being showcased in a new line of stories.
Howard’s career as a writer was brief, yet prolific. The Texan author wrote a variety of stories in many genres. However, it was his fantastic and historic works for magazines like Weird Tales and Argosy that brought Howard the most acclaim. Conan was easily the most popular of his creations, but others like King Kull and Solomon Kane also had fierce followings.
Since acquiring the license, Titan Books has published new Conan novels by prominent fantasy authors like S. M. Stirling and John C. Hocking. The new Heroic Legends line, however, offers shorter novellas in a ebook format. These are inspired by the short stories Howard wrote for various pulp magazines.

What new Conan stories are coming out?
Titan Books has confirmed the following list of releases through the end of 2025 and into the first half of 2026. One new novella based on a Robert E. Howard character will be released every month, starting with Conan: Comrades in September 2025. This wave will also include new tales of Solomon Kane, King Kull, and the Pictish hero Bran Mak Morn.

- February 24, 2026 – Untitled Bran Mak Morn story by Christopher Rowe
- March 31, 2026 – Conan: The Treasures of Tortage by Robbie MacNiven
- April 28, 2026 – Solomon Kane: Where the Whitethorn Meets the Black by Cavan Scott
