Trinity: Daughter of Wonder Woman explained
Trinity first appeared in a story in 2023’s Wonder Woman #800. Writer Tom King and artist Belén Ortega would spin several stories involving her childhood, as an adult Trinity is featured in the main title. However, the origins of Diana’s daughter would not be explained until over a year later.

Wonder Woman Vol. 6 #14 revealed how Elizabeth was born of a recreation of her mother’s divine birth. With Steve Trevor having sacrificed himself to save Diana, she traveled into the underworld to bring him back to the land of the living. While she could not take him back, Diana was able to claim a part of his soul. This, coupled with part of her own soul, a clay statue, and a prayer to the gods, gave Diana a daughter by the first man she’d ever loved.
Trinity: Daughter of Wonder Woman #1 arrives in comic shops everywhere on June 11, 2025.
