In many worlds, it is Peter Parker who defends the Web of Life as Spider-Man. However, on Earth-65, it was Gwen Stacy who was bitten by a genetically engineered spider and became a superhero. As Ghost-Spider, this so-called Spider-Gwen traveled around the multiverse to help people. However, a new monthly series will give Gwen a new home in Marvel’s main universe.
The new series, All-New Spider-Gwen: The Ghost Spider, will set up a new status quo. The previous Spider-Gwen series found her trying to make a new home on another world, while working as a TVA agent. This was necessary due to her accidentally becoming bonded to a reality-altering Cosmic Cube from her world.

The good news is that, as the new series opens, Gwen is finally free of the phenomenal cosmic power she never wanted. The bad news is that reality has been rewoven, making Ghost-Spider a permanent fixture of the Earth-616 universe. This leaves her trying to make the best of a bad situation.
To that end, Gwen tries to embrace the fresh start and the opportunities it offers. She has a new costume, a new home-life, and even a new band. Unfortunately, there are also new threats she must face in her alter-ego of Ghost-Spider.
“For Gwen, this new start is about possibility,” writer Stephanie Phillips told Collider. “She’s carrying the weight of her past, but she’s finally in a place where she can build something new—new allies, new purpose, and maybe even a new sense of self… or, recovering an element of herself we haven’t seen in a while. Like playing in a band.”
