Skybound Entertainment has shared an official trailer for Ava’s Demon Book Two: Aftermath by Michelle Fus.
Published by Image Comics under the Skybound Comet imprint, the Ava’s Demon graphic novel series collects Fus’ original webcomic in print format. The second volume arrives in bookstores on Tuesday, May 28 — and in comic shops on Wednesday, May 29. “In the spellbinding trailer, Ava has made another pact with Wrathia, hoping for a better life,” Skybound explains. “Deceived by the alien queen again, Ava is left to embark on an adventure to unlock answers, find her loved ones, pick up help along the way, and ultimately … kill Titan!”

What is Ava’s Demon Book Two: Aftermath about?
The first print volume of Ava’s Demon — Ava’s Demon Book One: Reborn — debuted in May 2023. The graphic novel centers on Ava, a shy girl who discovers she is being haunted by the ghost of an ancient alien queen named Wrathia. Ava assembles a ragtag team in an attempt to defeat TITAN, the god-like being that destroyed Wrathia’s empire.
In Aftermath, however, cracks begin to show. “After unleashing a devastating attack against TITAN’s forces, Ava’s newfound power sows division amongst the group,” an official synopsis reads. “While Ava comes to terms with what she’s done, the group’s darkest secrets are revealed.”
“Ava’s Demon: Aftermath holds some of my most cherished and important work of the series,” Fus said previously. “I am, again, so elated that Skybound and I could craft another beautiful book to share my comic with the world. It brings much desired permanency to my most lovingly crafted illustrations that I hold very dear to my heart. I can’t wait to share this next installment with old and new readers, in hopes that they will hold it dear to their own hearts as well.”
Both of Skybound’s print volumes of Ava’s Demon secured funding through successful Kickstarter campaigns. The first campaign raised a whopping $530,000 — while the second amassed just under $650,000.
