Krakoa is for mutants! But in the Reign of X, one of Logan’s oldest friends has been MIA. However, that changed in recent issues of Wolverine, when Maverick returned as an enemy agent. But it’s not Maverick’s fault, because his memory has been wiped again and again.
Wolverine can relate to that because he and Maverick suffered a similar fate during their days on Team X. That’s why Logan has been so unwilling to give up on Maverick. Regardless of the danger to himself, Wolverine tracked down Maverick to The Legacy House, an underground auction house that specializes in “unique” collectibles from heroes and villains. Before the auctioneer could sell Maverick’s services to the highest bidder, Wolverine interjected and snapped Maverick out of his control. Now, the fallout begins.
In Superhero Hype’s exclusive preview for Wolverine #10, Benjamin Percy and artist Adam Kubert pick up moments later as Wolverine tries to bring Maverick up to speed. But if they hope to fight their way out of The Legacy House, then they’re gonna have to face an elite crowd of villains who wanted to use them as living weapons again.
