After taking a one-week hiatus, Supergirl has returned with a brand-new episode of the show. The titular hero had to work hard to save Obsidian CEO Andrea Rojas’s life in “The Bodyguard” on Sunday night. In the end, though, Kara managed to save the day as usual. From the latest Supergirl Episode 5.15 promo, it seems that Supergirl is considering taking a break from her superheroic duties though. And it also seems that it will be up to the first transgender superhero Nia Nal to step up. She has to prove to the world that she is ready to take Kara’s place, should the necessity arise one day. Dreamer will have to clash with someone who doesn’t like transgender superheroes and wants Nia’s alter-ego to retire her cape once and for all.

Armen V. Kevorkian directed the episode written by Dana Horgan & Jay Faerber. The synopsis of “Reality Bytes” reads as follows:
“Nia’s (Nicole Maines) roommate, Yvette (guest star Roxy Wood), is attacked by a man targeting Dreamer because he doesn’t like that Dreamer is transgender and wants her to quit being a superhero. Determined to protect her community from additional harm, Dreamer refuses to give into his threats and puts herself in the line of fire to stop him. Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) stands by Dreamer and enlists additional help from Brainy (Jesse Rath). Meanwhile, Alex (Chyler Leigh), J’onn (David Harewood) and Kelly (Azie Tesfai) attempt to rescue a man stuck inside a virtual reality escape room.”
Supergirl episode 5.15 will air on March 15 at 9 p.m. ET on The CW. Do you think that Dreamer will live up to the situation? Let us know what you think in the comments section!
