Even though he didn’t return in Avengers: Endgame, fans will get the chance to see Paul Bettany’s Vision in the upcoming WandaVision series. And according to the actor, it will be worth it to have waited so much for his next on-screen appearance. Speaking with Kevin Smith for IMDb at Sundance Film Festival, the actor revealed that a peek of the show is coming very soon.
“Yes, I’m back for WandaVision,” he said. “I am such an admirer of Kevin Feige, he has taken such a risk with the show, and the concept of this show. It’s beautifully written by Jac Schaeffer and her staff of writers. And it is f***ing bonkers. I mean it’s so out there and nuts, the choices that they are making. And fans will not have to wait that much longer. They’ll get much more of an insight, very, very, soon as to what it may look and feel like. I’m proud of it.”
This is not the first time Bettany has spoken so enthusiastically about the upcoming Marvel series. The actor seemed to be very psyched about the show in a recent interview, teasing that fans will have their mind “really blown away by it.”
Last time we saw Paul Bettany’s Vision was in Avengers: Infinity War. Vision was among those heroes that were wiped out by Thanos, when the Infinity Stone was removed from his head. The story of the upcoming WandaVision series will likely start with Vision’s return to Scarlet Witch’s side somehow, but for now, all details are under wraps.
WandaVision doesn’t currently have a premiere date, but it will likely debut on Disney+ later this year. What do you expect from the upcoming WandaVision series? Let us know in the comments section below.
