Indiana Jones has gotten hold of Doctor Doom‘s mask in a surprising MCU crossover. The latest update reveals that Jones will be hunting more iconic Marvel artifacts.
In an update from Marvel, it has been revealed that the famed archaeologist will be returning to Marvel Comics this November. Ahead of his return, Jones will be seen going after several precious relics. In the Indiana Jones Marvel Artifacts variant cover, Jones will enter Doctor Doom’s Latverian lair to get his iconic iron mask. Marco Checchetto reportedly designed the cover for Fantastic Four #19.
In these movies, Jones is well-known for collecting rare artifacts from all over the world. He has already recovered the Ark of the Covenant and the Holy Grail.

Alongside Doctor Doom’s mask, Indiana Jones will also hunt for other famous and formidable artifacts in the upcoming issues. Jones will set out to find the Infinity Gauntlet, which is associated with the Marvel supervillain Thanos. He will also hunt for Mjolnir, Thor’s legendary hammer.
Jones will also be on a quest to track down other artifacts, including Knull’s All-Black, the Necrosword, and the Crimson Gem of Cyttorak. While Marco Checchetto designed the Fantastic Four #19 Indiana Jones Marvel Artifacts variant cover, other artists have also contributed to the project.
Iban Coello, Sara Pichelli, Mahmud Asrar, and Carmen Carnero will be designing the other four covers. Carnero designed the cover for X-Men #41, which will be released in November. Following that, Fantastic Four #19 will be available on November 18, while Amazing Spider-Man #1004, designed by Pichelli, is scheduled for release on November 25.
Additionally, Marvel Comics is bringing back iconic 1980s Indiana Jones stories in special hardcover editions. The classic reprints will hit shelves in November 2026.
