Indiana Jones is all set to hunt for the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s most iconic and powerful artifacts. This will be part of the latest crossover, in which Jones will return to Marvel Comics.
According to the latest updates, the legendary archaeologist Jones will uncover Marvel‘s artifacts in the latest Indiana Jones Marvel Artifacts Covers. Renowned artists, namely Iban Coello, Sara Pichelli, Mahmud Asrar, Carmen Carnero, and Marco Checchetto, will treat the Indiana Jones fans with their designs.
On the covers, Jones could be seen hunting for the artifacts: the Infinity Gauntlet, famously wielded by the mad Titan Thanos. He will also be on the lookout for Thor’s iconic Mjolnir hammer, Knull’s All-Black the Necrosword, and the legendary mask of Doctor Doom.
Apart from these, Jones will also hunt for the Crimson Gem of Cyttorak. This was the same artifact from which Juggernaut got his powers. And that’s not all. Indy fans will also be able to access some classic reprints, which will go live on sale this November.
Marvel celebrates Indiana Jones’ return with classic reprints and a new adventure
Marvel Comics is bringing back the iconic Indiana Jones stories in hardcover. Indiana Jones: The Further Adventures Book I and Book II are being reprinted by Marvel and are scheduled to hit the racks in October 2026. The 1980s sagas will include comic versions of three movies, namely, Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981), Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984), and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989).
The Further Adventures of Indiana Jones, which continued Indiana Jones’ adventures beyond the movies, will also be included in the reprints. In addition, Marvel will release a facsimile edition of issue #1 in November 2026.
Marvel is launching a new series of Indiana Jones comics, presenting the iconic character in Marvel’s own comic book style. Fans will get the opportunity to witness the character and his adventures through the lens of the Marvel mythos. Indiana Jones Marvel Artifacts Covers is a special collection celebrating this new era of Indiana Jones.
The new series, set after the events of Raiders of the Lost Ark, is scheduled to be released in February 2027. Written by Jason Aason and drawn by Aaron Kuder, it is titled Indiana Jones and the Sword of Pandemonium.
