Over 180 actors have seemingly joined the cast of Avengers: Doomsday. Marvel’s biggest release for 2026 is aiming to top the cinematic experience of 2019’s Avengers: Endgame.
A recent update from Empire magazine stated that the project will include “approximately 180 cast members.” The update also pointed out that Marvel Studios did remain tight-lipped about their upcoming project. But it was during the 2026 San Diego Comic-Con that things started to slowly fall into place.
Marvel Studios’ panel at the Comic-Con featured Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige, Robert Downey Jr., who is playing Doctor Doom, alongside other stars. The fans also witnessed an interesting moment when a supposed cosplayer, donning the grey Deadpool costume, revealed himself as Ryan Reynolds.
Who do we know is definitely part of the Avengers: Doomsday cast?
According to the official Marvel website, a total of 31 actors have been confirmed so far for Avengers: Doomsday. While Downey Jr. will play the big bad, Chris Evans is also returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe following his Avengers: Endgame stint. Joining him in the cast will be Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Channing Tatum as Gambit, Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Sebastian Stan as Bucky, and Tenoch Huerta Mejía as Namor.
The project will also feature Pedro Pascal, Anthony Mackie, Florence Pugh, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Wyatt Russell, Ian McKellen, James Marsden, Patrick Stewart, Joseph Quinn, David Harbour, Letitia Wright, Lewis Pullman, Kelsey Grammer, Kathryn Newton, Danny Ramírez, Winston Duke, Alan Cumming, Hannah John-Kamen, and Rebecca Romijn.
Apart from these actors, there are several rumors going around about a lot of potential stars joining the project. Fans are expecting that Marvel’s latest X-Men reboot actors, including Sadie Sink, Kit Connor, Samara Weaving, Inde Navarette, Adam Driver, Maya Boyd, and Christopher Abbott, to show up. A recent video uploaded by Hugh Jackman has sparked heavy speculation about Wolverine and Deadpool making a cameo. However, none of these rumors have been confirmed by Marvel yet.
