Jurassic World Finally Unleashes a Monster the Movies Have Been Teasing

A dangerous monster, teased for a long time in the Jurassic World franchise, has finally been revealed. This deadly creature has a bite more powerful than a Tyrannosaurus rex.

The first-ever crocodile in the Jurassic World series, Deinosuchus, has been unleashed. The Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom movie did tease this creature but it’s never made an actual appearance so far. It was an extinct genus of eusuchian from North America during the Cretaceous period and hunted hadrosaurs.

The crocodile species has been mentioned as bigger than modern alligators, having a lifespan of 80 years – longer than most dinosaurs. Now, the avid Jurassic World fans can finally witness the wrath of Deinosuchus, thanks to the popular video game series, Jurassic World Evolution.

How Jurassic World finally delivers on years of monster teases

The Deinosuchus has been introduced on the screens with the latest DLC expansion of Jurassic World Evolution 3, titled Crocodilia Coast.

Following the collaboration between developing studio Frontier Developments and Universal Products & Experiences, the new expansion pack finally arrived for the game on August 11, 2026.

According to the official description for Deinosuchus, “This fearsome predator lurks in the deep, waiting for unsuspecting prey to pass by before it strikes with a fierce deathroll attack. Thanks to its long, broad snout, muscular tail, and quadrupedal walking style, this species is just as deadly out of the water as when submerged.”

Speaking more of the latest DLC pack for Jurassic World Evolution 3, it also features four other species: Postosuchus, Desmatosuchus, Styxosaurus, and Shonisaurus. “Each species comes as a complete family unit and features bespoke interactions, and the first-ever bioluminescent skins for the Styxosaurus juvenile.”

Players as park managers get to build their own weathered coastal locations and expand the waterside operations with detailed scenery, signage, props, and Blueprints.

The Jurassic World Evolution 3: Crocodilia Coast pack is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S for $14.99.
