A new Avengers: Doomsday and Secret Wars rumor could have revealed a major twist for Black Panther 3. The upcoming sequel will follow the events of the last film in the Multiverse Saga.
While the plot of the movie hasn’t yet been revealed, the alliance between Wakanda and Talokan could be tested in the two upcoming Avengers films. That is where a possible spoiler comes in.
According to The Cosmic Circus, Namor might be “forced” to yield to another ruler under pressure. Of course, Namor’s act will be done to protect the interests of his people. However, the decision could leave a lasting impression on Shuri and the people of Talokan, potentially setting up the events of the third Black Panther film.

What could the Avengers: Doomsday and Secret Wars rumor mean for Black Panther 3?
The underwater kingdom of Talokan was introduced in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The two civilizations were initially at odds, but their relationship changed by the end of the movie. After Shuri and Namor came to understand their differences, an uneasy peace appeared to have been established. However, it remains unclear how long their fragile alliance will last.
With Doctor Doom posing a menacing threat, Wakanda and Talokan could join forces to confront him. However, there is no telling whether their alliance could go awry, potentially causing Namor to turn against Wakanda.
Marvel has already announced that Ryan Coogler will continue with his direction for Black Panther 3. Cast members will include popular names like Letitia Wright (Shuri) and Winston Duke (M’Baku). Marvel has also announced a new character who will take on the Black Panther mantle. Back in Wakanda Forever, Shuri donned the mantle of Black Panther. But now, David Jonsson has been confirmed to play T’Challa II, the son of T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman).
After Avengers: Secret Wars arrives on December 17, 2027, Marvel Studios will move forward with Black Panther 3, which releases a year later on December 15, 2028.
