Spider-Man: Brand New Day premiere was more than just a red carpet show for Tom Holland. The actor opened up about one of his most anticipated Marvel moments that went wrong. He revealed one particular spoiler he wishes he could take back.
Speaking at the film’s world premiere, Holland revealed he accidentally spoiled a big twist for Avengers: Infinity War in front of Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige himself.
He was asked if there was one particular spoiler he wished to erase from fans’ memories. The actor shared the story of how it happened during the opening-night celebrations for Infinity War. He said, “Yeah. I remember when Infinity War was coming out. Kevin Feige, the legend, always does this thing where he rents a party bus, and we drive around Los Angeles, surprising fans at the first opening-night screenings.”
Holland added, “I thought we were walking into a room of people who had already seen the movie. I thought it had ended. So I walked on stage and said, ‘Don’t worry, everybody. I’m still alive.’ Then there was this huge collective sigh. I was kind of like, ‘Wow, I thought that was going to get a bigger reaction.’ I looked at Kevin, and Kevin was like, ‘It’s okay.’ I wish I could go back and relive that moment.”
