A Spider-Man and Daredevil MCU team-up movie could finally be happening at some point in the future, according to new rumors.
Tom Holland’s Peter Parker/Spider-Man will return in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, also known as Spider-Man 4, this summer. The Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures movie is being directed by Wonder Man’s Destin Daniel Cretton, who previously directed Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.
The second season of Marvel Television’s Daredevil: Born Again, meanwhile, premiered on Disney+ last month. New episodes will continue to be released on Tuesdays until the finale arrives on May 5. A continuation of the Netflix show, Born Again sees Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio reprise their roles as Matt Murdock/Daredevil and Kingpin/Wilson Fisk.
Marvel fans have long wanted to see Daredevil and Spider-Man work together in an MCU project, given their characters’ history in the comics. Matt Murdock briefly appeared in 2021’s Spider-Man: No Way Home, though this was nothing more than just a quick cameo.

According to some new reports, there may be some behind-the-scenes movement on a potential Spider-Man and Daredevil MCU team-up movie.
Alex Perez of The Cosmic Circus said, “Trust that both Marvel and Sony know that we want them to interact and know that a movie with them can do really well. And from what I heard, it’s less an issue about legalities and more about the story they want to tell.”
Scooper @REDACTEDSpider added more fuel to the fire, saying, “Hearing that post Daredevil Born Again season 3, Charlie could be getting his own Solo film, which would conclude the storyline built across the first 3 BA seasons. Spider-Man could make an appearance due to it being a film project.”
This is just a rumor at this time, and it should be treated as such. Daredevil: Born Again has been renewed for a third season, though there’s been no official announcement as to what the future may have in store for Daredevil after that. There’s also been no announcement of where Holland may pop up in the MCU after Brand New Day, as his casting in Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars has not been confirmed by Marvel as of yet.
