Typically, the soundtrack in a show is a key part of the storyline, complementing the tone and mood of the story while evoking emotions. So, here’s the name of the song played at the end of Peacemaker’s new episode.
What song played at the end of Peacemaker Season 2?
The song played at the end of Peacemaker Season 2 Episode 4 is “A Shot at Redemption” by H.e.a.t.
H.e.a.t is a Swedish rock band, whose members currently are Jimmy Jay, Jona Tee, Don Crash, Dave Dalone, and Kenny Leckremo. “A Shot at Redemption” is a part of their fourth album, titled Tearing Down the Walls. It was the first single from the album, marking its release in February 2014. This album didn’t include one of their band members, Dalone.
In an interview with Mary Sue, creator James Gunn shared details on what it’s like collaborating with talented artists and incorporating good music into his work. He spoke about Foxy Shazam, whose song “Oh Lord” was chosen for this season’s dance number.
He said, “Oh, it’s awesome. I remember turning Jen [Holland] onto Foxy Shazam like a couple years ago. We were renting a house in LA and we were outside, and I kept playing her different songs and I was showing her videos, and she’s like, ‘How is this band not like the biggest band in the world? They have so many good songs.’ I mean, they’re like Queen, you know? And so to be able to introduce people to Foxy and have them see what a great band there is awesome.”
Apart from sharing good music with the world through his work, he also explained that the most favorite part of his job is also to explore the depths of his characters. “In the same way, it’s cool to get people to see what an amazing actor John Cena is in a way that they haven’t seen or see how good Jen is at acting and fighting or Steve Agee can do dramatic, all these different elements of people that I love and can bring out. That’s my favorite part of this whole job,” Gunn added.
Peacemaker Season 2 is now available to stream on HBO Max.
