Wednesday Season 2 Part 2 was more exciting than many expected and revealed several intriguing mysteries, including the true identities of Slurp and Isaac. The twisted season also ended on a sad note. Although Wednesday achieved her goal, the finale left behind a melancholic aftertaste.
With the final four episodes of the second season now streaming, here is a look at who Isaac and Slurp really were in Wednesday Season 2.
Is Isaac Night actually Slurp in Wednesday Season 2 Part 2?
Wednesday Season 2 Part 2 reveals that Pugsley’s pet zombie, Slurp, is actually Isaac Night, a mad genius who developed a technology capable of reversing the powers of an outcast. He created it to strip his sister, Franciose, of her Hyde powers, which she despised. However, his ambition soon became dangerously out of control.
As shown in a flashback, when Isaac was a student at Nevermore alongside Gomez, he tried testing the machine with Gomez’s electrical powers. He nearly killed Gomez by drawing too much energy from him. Morticia arrived just in time and cut off Isaac’s hand to save Gomez. The injury ultimately killed Isaac, and Morticia and Adam buried his body beneath the Skull Tree.
The hand Morticia severed became Thing, who later accompanied Wednesday on her missions. Using a self-made clockwork heart to stay alive, Isaac Night returned to finish the work he started in Wednesday Season 2 Episode 2.
In the final episodes, Isaac and his sister, Franciose, kidnapped Pugsley to use his electrical powers to make the machine function at last. This revealed Isaac as the biggest villain in the series so far.
Wednesday Season 2 Part 2 is now streaming on Netflix. The season left behind some big questions, which will perhaps be answered in the third season.
