Starring Ryan Reynolds, Jeff Bridges and Kevin Bacon, R.I.P.D. is now in production in Boston, Massachusetts where Celebuzz managed to snap photos of Reynolds and Bacon in action.
The project, based on Peter Lenkov's Dark Horse comic about a police department of the dead, will be directed by Robert Schwentke (RED). Phil Hay and Matt Manfredi are writing the screenplay with Mike Richardson, founder and President of Dark Horse, producing alongside Lawrence Gordon and Neal Moritz.
Also Stephanie Szostak, Mary-Louise Parker, Marisa Miller, Mike O'Malley and James Hong, R.I.P.D. is planned for a June 28, 2013 release.
