The story may be whacked, but the special FX will definitely take it to another level. Report Abuse

i wished they would have kept Sam Raimi...he did a great job...except for part 3 but that's cause of the studio. I would have loved to see what the Volture woudl have done...I bet it would have been cool!!!
We will never see this... Report Abuse

It really pains me to see Raimi and the rest of the crew go, but I never really cared for the Vulture so it's not a huge loss to me. If they want to make me care about this Spidey then they'll have to do better than another origin story. Report Abuse

All you fan boys were crying out for a reboot, wheb Raimi was talking vultress, no it's happened you want him back. It may well be better than the Raini version. Lets give it a chance before shooting it down Report Abuse

How can a movie smell different? Sure, Spider-man 3 "stank" a bit..... but really? If they ever "Twilight" it up, I will be very displeased by it. And hello... special FX or no, if the story loses the plot.... well, they'll be making a reboot of a reboot afterward... which will proves they were @sswipes about it from the start. I have, to this date, never SEEN a whole movie solely built around a special FX, period..... a short presentation, sure... but nobody's stupid enough to waste an entire film on a few special FX shots. Oh wait... this is Hollywood we're talking about here. Some of the execs ARE stupid enough to do it. Report Abuse

i agree....i love spider-man but im just so frustrated by the decision to reboot after 3 movies that started less than 10 years ago....5 years from the 3rd movie is just too short of a time gap for a reboot....other reboots have come out at least 15-20 years after the last one, but 10 at the least....5 is too short...i remember spider-man 3 like it was yesterday and it is fixable and they could've continued with tobey and the gang, or just leave it alone if they dont want to continue, the way they did with the matrix...or wait like 15 or 20 years for a reboot...........im sure 20 or 30 years down the line, the matrix will be rebooted and they will try to better the sequels and change the story....matrix is too popular a franchise to go without reboot Report Abuse
