It was just a few weeks ago that director Bryan Singer revealed that actor Lucas Till would be returning as Havok for the mutant epic X-Men: Days of Future Past. We’ve since spoken with Till about the film (you can read the full interview by clicking here) and he had some interesting things to say about the film’s story. We’re going to issue a potential spoiler warning here since some may not want to know the details that Till speaks about.
“Basically, a war is taking place in one of the timelines. In the “First Class” cast’s timeline there’s a war during around the time of President Nixon you may be familiar with. That I may or may not be involved in. [Laughs.] That’s kind of my involvement there. It was fun to just show up and use my blasts and get to go back to my other movie. It was a nice vacation.”
When asked if he filmed any scenes with the members of the original cast, Lucas couldn’t recall. “The original cast… I don’t think so. I keep forgetting, man.” But Till did confirm he’ll be re-teaming with some of his “First Class” co-stars in the film, “ I’ll leave that to the imagination, because I don’t want to spoil it for other people, you know?”
Till also confirmed that his character won’t be meeting up with James Marsden’s Cyclops in the film. “I really want to. I’d be looking forward to that. But all we really know is they share the same last name.”
