Joe Hill’s comic book series Locke & Key appears to have found new life on the big screen. Last week, Latino Review ran a rumor that an adaptation is in development as a feature film trilogy and now both writer/producer Roberto Orci and Hill himself have hinted at the rumor’s veracity.
The IDW series tells of Keyhouse, a New England mansion with fantastic doors that transform all who dare to walk through them. The building is also home to a hate-filled and relentless creature that will not rest until it forces open the most terrible door of them all.
On Saturday, Orci tweeted the following:
At the moment, there are few confirmed details regarding the potential trilogy and it is unknown whether or not Spielberg, Friedman and Romanek are still involved. Check back for more information as it becomes available.
