DavisDVD has learned that the extended cut of Spider-Man 2, that will be shown on FX January 2nd, is coming to DVD as well:
It appears that the long standing rumors of an extended edition are finally true. Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will be releasing Spider-Man 2: Extended Edition in late April, timed to coincide with the web-slinger's latest big-screen adventure "Spider-Man 3." No details about the disc are available yet, but we anticipate more information in about a month (if that). Stay tuned for more details as we get closer to release.
