A synopsis for Marvel Studios' The First Avenger: Captain America is making the rounds, but a Marvel spokesperson tells SuperHeroHype that it's not accurate. We believe the synopsis originated at FeatureFilmCasting.com, which many sites have been quoting lately as if it's official information.
We feel we should remind people that this site is not an official studio-owned site and is instead run by an actor named Alan Baltes who may be pulling these casting calls from unverified sources. We will let you know when Marvel Studios releases the official synopsis for the film. Joe Johnston will direct the comic book adaptation for a July 22, 2011 release.
