WB Montréal Sets an October Release Date For Gotham Knights

Nearly two years after Gotham Knights was announced at 2020’s DC FanDome event, the Bat Family will finally take center stage this fall. Warner Bros. Games Montréal has confirmed that its highly-anticipated DC adventure will hit stores on October 25. You can check out the studio’s official announcement via Twitter below.

Picking up after deaths of Batman and Commissioner Gordon, the game finds Nightwing, Robin, Batgirl, and Red Hood stepping up as Gotham City’s new protectors. Each hero comes with their own unique fighting style as they tackle familiar villains like Mr. Freeze and the Penguin and unravel the mystery behind the Court of Owls and its army of Talons. The game also features appearances by other well-known Batman characters like Alfred Pennyworth and Renee Montoya.

WB Montréal originally planned to release Gotham Knights in 2021 before announcing a delay last year. The developers later unveiled a brand new trailer for the game during last fall’s FanDome livestream. Previously, WB Montréal developed Batman: Arkham Origins in 2013. However, Gotham Knights is confirmed to take place in a separate continuity.

Gotham Knights will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Microsoft Windows.
