Ironheart Reshoots Were Impressively Few for a Disney+ Show

According to a producer on Disney+’s Ironheart, the latest MCU series didn’t have to do many reshoots at all compared to past projects.

How many reshoots did Ironheart have?

Speaking to ScreenCrush in a recent interview, Ironheart producer Sev Ohanian revealed that Ironheart only needed two days of reshoots. As far as movies and TV projects go nowadays, that’s a surprisingly low number.

For MCU-related projects, specifically, that’s also impressively low, as Marvel Studios is often known for having to do reshoots for several reasons over the past Phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Ironheart is led by Dominique Thorne, who reprises her role as Riri Williams in the MCU. Alongside Thorne, Ironheart also stars Anthony Ramos, Lyric Ross, Alden Ehrenreich, Regan Aliyah, Manny Montana, Matthew Elam, and Anji White. The series is created by Chinaka Hodge.

The synopsis for Ironheart reads, “Set after the events of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Marvel Television’s Ironheart pits technology against magic when Riri Williams (Dominique Thorne)—a young, genius inventor determined to make her mark on the world—returns to her hometown of Chicago. Her unique take on building iron suits is brilliant, but in pursuit of her ambitions, she finds herself wrapped up with the mysterious yet charming Parker Robbins aka The Hood (Anthony Ramos).”

Ironheart is available to stream exclusively on Disney+.
