Ironheart cast members Dominique Thorne and Anthony Ramos are teasing a major cameo in the second half of the Marvel show.
The first three episodes of Ironheart are now streaming on Disney+. The Marvel Television show sees Thorne reprise her MCU role as Riri Williams after she previously starred in 2022’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, while Ramos portrays Parker Robbins/The Hood.
What do we know about the Ironheart cameo?
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Thorne and Ramos were asked about a “new villain” who is introduced in the show. The villain isn’t specifically named in the interview; however, the two Ironheart stars teased what role they’ll have in the show and the greater MCU.
“I don’t think [it’s the last that we’ll see him in the MCU],” Thorne said. “I hope not. I hope it’s not the last time that we see him. But I do think it’s like the best boost of encouragement that you could get, when I did learn that he would be introduced in Ironheart. Because, of course, we know how much the fans, and how long the fans, have been waiting for that. For it to be in this show that they get him, let’s go.”
Ramos added, “And he’s one of the elite actors of our time, too. So that also helps.”
The most popular theory online is that Thorne and Ramos are likely alluding to Mephisto, who has long been rumored to be played by Sacha Baron Cohen. The first three episodes hint that the character, who was previously speculated to be part of both WandaVision and Agatha All Along, could be showing up sometime soon, though fans will have to wait until the final three episodes drop on July 1, 2025, to find out for sure.
Marvel Studios‘ Ironheart also stars Alden Ehrenreich, Lyric Ross, Manny Montana, Matthew Elam, Anji White, Eric André, Cree Summer, Shea Couleé, Sonia Denis, Zoe Terakes, Shakira Barrera, and more.
