The Sandman Season 2 Episode Titles Revealed, Bonus Episode Announced

Netflix has revealed the episode titles for The Sandman Season 2. The announcement also included the news of an additional episode, increasing Season 2’s episode count from 11 to 12.

“After a fateful reunion with his family, Dream of the Endless (Tom Sturridge) must face one impossible decision after another as he attempts to save himself, his kingdom, and the waking world from the epic fallout of his past misdeeds,” the Season 2 synopsis reads. “To make amends, Dream must confront longtime friends and foes, gods, monsters, and mortals. But the path to forgiveness is full of unexpected twists and turns, and true absolution may cost Dream everything.”

The Sandman is based on the award-winning DC comic series written by Neil Gaiman.

What are The Sandman Season 2 episode titles?

The Sandman Season 2 episode titles are as follows:

  • Episode 1 – Season of Mists
  • Episode 2 – The Ruler of Hell
  • Episode 3 – More Devils Than Vast Hell Can Hold
  • Episode 4 – Brief Lives
  • Episode 5 – The Song of Orpheus
  • Episode 6 – Family Blood
  • Episode 7 – Time and Night
  • Episode 8 – Fuel for the Fire
  • Episode 9 – The Kindly Ones
  • Episode 10 – Long Live the King
  • Episode 11 – A Tale of Graceful Ends
  • Episode 12 – Death: The High Cost of Living

Netflix will release these episodes across three dates this summer. Episodes 1–6 stream on July 3 as Volume 1. Volume 2 — episodes 7–11 — release on July 24. The 12th episode premieres on July 31.

Sturridge headlines The Sandman Season 2 as Morpheus/Dream. The cast includes Kirby Howell-Baptiste, Mason Alexander Park, Donna Preston, Esmé Creed-Miles, Adrian Lester, Barry Sloane, Patton Oswalt, Vivienne Acheampong, Gwendoline Christie, Jenna Coleman, Ferdinand Kingsley, Stephen Fry, Asim Chaudhry, Sanjeev Bhaskar, Razane Jammal, Ruairi O’Connor, Freddie Fox, Clive Russell, Laurence O’Fuarain, Ann Skelly, Douglas Booth, Jack Gleeson, Indya Moore, and Steve Coogan.

Showrunner Allan Heinberg is a writer and executive producer on The Sandman. Additional executive producers include Gaiman and David S. Goyer. Jamie Childs will direct every episode of Season 2.

The Sandman will end with Season 2.
