The role that Picard star Todd Stashwick is playing in the upcoming Vision MCU show has reportedly been revealed.
Marvel Television is currently developing a show about Paul Bettany’s Vision character. Coming from showrunner Terry Matalas, the series is expected to premiere on Disney+ at some point in 2026.
Stashwick, known for playing Captain Liam Shaw in the third season of Star Trek: Picard, was added to the show’s cast in September 2024. At the time, The Hollywood Reporter said he would play “an assassin who is on the trail of [the Vision] android and the technology he possesses,” though no further details were revealed.

This is just a rumor that should be taken with a grain of salt at this time, as there has been no official confirmation from Marvel Studios regarding who Stashwick will be playing in the Vision show.
Created by writer Jim Shooter and artist Carmine Infantino, Paladin made his Marvel Comics debut in 1978’s Daredevil #150. The character, who often uses the alias of Paul Denning, is a mercenary and a private deceptive equipped with bulletproof armor, a stun-gun, and an infrared vision helmet.
The Vision show will see Bettany once again reprise his role as Vision. The character was previously killed in Avengers: Infinity War before being resurrected in the WandaVision miniseries. That version of Vision also died; however, a new, all-white version of Vision still exists within the MCU.
James Spader, meanwhile, will reprise his role as Ultron in the series, while the cast also includes Ruaridh Mollica, T’Nia Miller, and Faran Tahir.
A precise Disney+ release date for the Vision MCU has not yet been announced at this time.
