Netflix has revealed who will be playing Tony Tony Chopper in One Piece Season 2.
The first season of Netflix’s live-action One Piece premiered in August 2023. The show was quickly a hit and was renewed for a second season, which began filming in 2024.

Netflix has now announced that Mikaela Hoover will voice Tony Tony Chopper in One Piece Season 2. Additionally, Hoover also does the facial capture for the character. Check out a first look at the live-action version of Chopper below:
Hoover will soon be seen playing Cat Grant in James Gunn’s Superman movie, which releases in July 2025. Her filmography also includes 2010’s Super, 2014’s Guardians of the Galaxy, 2016’s The Belko Experiment, 2021’s The Suicide Squad, 2021’s Love Hard, and 2023’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, while she’s appeared in television shows such as How I Met Your Mother, Anger Management, Two and a Half Men, The League, 2 Broke Girls, Lucifer, and more.
One Piece Season 2 comes from co-showrunners, writers, and executive producers Matt Owens and Joe Tracz. Eiichiro Oda, Marty Adelstein, Becky Clements, Tetsu Fujimura, Chris Symes, and Steven Maeda also serve as executive producers.
The show primarily stars Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy, Emily Rudd as Nami, Mackenyu as Zoro, Jacob Romero Gibson as Usopp, Tax Skylar as Sanji, Ilia Isorelys Paulino as Alvida, Jeff Ward as Buggy, and Michael Dorman as Gold Roger.
