Jessica Jones star Krysten Ritter has started training for Daredevil: Born Again Season 2.
Ritter starred as the titular character of Marvel and Netflix’s Jessica Jones series, which premiered in 2015 and ran for three seasons. She then reprised the role in the 2017 The Defenders crossover series, which co-stars Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, Mike Colter as Luke Cage, and Finn Jones as Danny Rand/Iron Fist.
Earlier this month, it was announced that Ritter’s Jessica Jones will appear in Marvel Television’s Daredevil: Born Again Season 2.

What do we know about Jessica Jones’ role in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2?
How large of a role Jessica Jones will have in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 remains unclear at this time. The cast further includes Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Wilson Bethel as Benjamin “Dex” Poindexter/Bullseye, Michael Gandolfini as Daniel Blake, Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/Punisher, and Matthew Lillard.
Ritter said when her Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 casting was announced, via Variety, “It’s so great to be back, returning to Jessica after three seasons and ‘The Defenders’ and now joining the MCU. I’m so excited to bring back this iconic character, and without giving too much away, there is much more in store for Jessica Jones. This is going to be an incredible season!”
Whether or not Colter and Jones will ever reprise their respective superhero roles in future MCU movies or a potential Defenders reunion remains unclear at this time, as there has been no official announcement on that matter as of yet.
A premiere date for Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 has not yet been announced by Marvel Studios.
