What do we know about Daredevil: Born Again?

Daredevil: Born Again comes from showrunner Dario Scardapane, while Moon Knight’s Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead serve as the lead directors on the series.

Cox is reprising his role as Matt Murdock in Daredevil: Born Again. Cox initially played the role in all three seasons of Netflix’s Daredevil series. His character is also featured in 2017’s The Defenders, 2021’s Spider-Man: No Way Home, 2022’s She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, and 2024’s Echo.

Bernthal, meanwhile, is once again playing Frank Castle/The Punisher after playing the character in both Daredevil and Netflix’s The Punisher, while Woll is returning as Karen Page.

The series is also welcoming back Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, Elden Henson as Franklin “Foggy” Nelson, and Wilson Bethel as Benjamin “Dex” Poindexter/Bullseye. They’ll be joined by newcomers Margarita Levieva, Michael Gandolfini, Sandrine Holt (who is taking for Ayelet Zurer as Vanessa Fisk), Nikki M. James, Genneya Walton, Clark Johnson, and more.

Daredevil: Born Again began filming in March 2023 but was delayed because of the Writers Guild of America (WGA) and Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) strikes. Marvel decided to overhaul the series during that time as head writers Matt Corman and Chris Ord were taken off the project in September 2023. Production then resumed in January 2024.

Daredevil: Born Again does not yet have an official release date; although, it’s expected to premiere on Disney+ sometime in 2025.
