Stranger Things 4 Volume 2 Images Prepare the Gang for Battle

Sure, it sounded frustrating at first that Stranger Things 4 would have a gap between batches of episodes, but it’s not that bad. In just over two weeks, the final two movie-length episodes drop. And in preparation for that, Netflix just dropped some official Stranger Things 4 Volume 2 images to catch us up. While none of them features any kind of major revelation, or even a monster, they do show the various groups of heroes preparing to meet their most immediate challenges.

We see Max and Lucas in the Creel house, ready to face not just the threat of Vecna, but their own baggage. Eleven stands both with and without Dr. Brenner. The crew back in Hawkins tries to work together, with Eddie seemingly taking more of the lead this time, both as Dungeon Master and driver. Out west on the roads, Mike seems to spot something. Meanwhile, in Siberia, Soviet prisons don’t prove as easy to get out of as they might have seemed when getting in.

The official Stranger Things 4 synopsis reads: “Its been six months since the Battle of Starcourt, which brought terror and destruction to Hawkins. Struggling with the aftermath, our group of friends are separated for the first time – and navigating the complexities of high school hasn’t made things any easier. In this most vulnerable time, a new and horrifying supernatural threat surfaces, presenting a gruesome mystery that, if solved, might finally put an end to the horrors of the Upside Down.”

Volume 2 debuts on Netflix July 1. Check out the pictures below. Then give us your predictions in comments.
