Harper Anthony Joins the Cast of Marvel’s Ironheart Series
Dominique Thorne is set to make a big splash as one of Marvel’s newest superheroes on Disney+’s upcoming Ironheart series. But Thorne isn’t the only young actor whose career is about to get a major signal boost thanks to the MCU. The Wrap brings word that newcomer Harper Anthony has booked a supporting role on the show as well.

The identity of Anthony’s Ironheart character remains a secret for now. Regardless, he joins a cast that currently includes Lyric Ross as Riri Williams’ best friend and Anthony Ramos as another mystery character who will reportedly pop up in other future Marvel projects. Thorne’s casting was announced over a year ago during Disney’s Investor Day livestream. But before Ironheart premieres, she will make her on-screen debut as Riri in November’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
At just nine years old, Anthony only has a few screen credits to his name, including a 2021 guest-appearance on NBC’s Chicago Med. But apparently, his interests extend far beyond the acting realm. The Wrap claims that he has also taken courses in aviation training and financial literacy, the latter of which earned him a Jr. Investor certification.
Riri Williams made her first appearance in Marvel’s comic book universe in 2016. Her genius-level intellect allowed her to enroll at MIT when she was 15 years old, and her tech-savviness enabled her to reverse-engineer her own armored suit inspired by Tony Stark’s Iron Man design. Chinaka Hodge is leading the writers room on the character’s Disney+ series.
Disney+ hasn’t announced a release date for Ironheart.
