Peacemaker Episodes 1-3 – What Did You Think?!

Previously on The Suicide Squad, John Cena’s Peacemaker/Christopher Smith was shot and then he got a building dropped on him. He kind of had it coming for murdering Rick Flag and trying to kill Ratcatcher 2 and Bloodsport. Regardless, Cena is back in his own Peacemaker series on HBO Max, and we want to know what the Superhero Hype community thinks about it! This post is a place for all of you to leave your own reviews, thoughts, or anything else you want to say about Peacemaker episodes 1-3.

The first three episodes started to humanize Peacemaker following his release from the prison hospital. That’s especially true when we see how helpless Peacemaker is when it comes to his father, August “Auggie” Smith (Robert Patrick). Auggie is also the source for Peacemaker’s tech, uniforms, and helmets. Meanwhile, Peacemaker thought he could slip away from Task Force X without any consequences. However, Amanda Waller isn’t going to let him go so easily. But since Waller isn’t here, the new boss is Clemson Murn (Chukwudi Iwuji).

Murn threatened to send Peacemaker back to jail if he didn’t work with his new team. That includes two more characters from The Suicide Squad: Emilia Harcourt (Jennifer Holland) and John Economos (Steve Agee), both of whom hate Peacemaker. Regardless, the new girl, Leota Adebayo (Danielle Brooks), at least seems open to the possibility of being friends with Peacemaker.

But as far as Peacemaker is concerned, only his pet eagle, Eagly, truly has his back. Even though Vigilante (Freddie Stroma) is constantly trying to be BFF with Peacemaker. But this guy may be even crazier than Peacemaker is.

Peacemaker episode 4 will premiere on HBO Max on Thursday, January 20.
