Disney+ Debuts New Teaser For The Book of Boba Fett

The post-credits scene of The Mandalorian season 2 promised that The Book of Boba Fett would arrive in 2021. And it will, by the skin of its teeth in the last week of the year. Regardless, the next live-action Star Wars series is almost here. However, it won’t be an easy road ahead for Boba Fett. Claiming Jabba the Hutt’s criminal empire was easy. Hanging on to it won’t be simple at all.

Lucasfilm and Disney+ have released a new teaser for the series called “Authority.” In these clips, Boba (Temuera Morrison) and his right-hand woman, Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen) receive visitors from the other criminal houses. One of these visitors is so insincere that Boba instantly mistrusts him. And for good reasons, we’re sure.

If you’re wondering why the trailers have shown so little, there’s a reason for that. Director and executive producer Robert Rodriguez has said that the trailers only draw from the first half of episode 1. Anything beyond that is apparently too big of a spoiler to reveal just yet.

The Book of Boba Fett will premiere on Disney+ on December 29.
