Disney+ Shares the First Look At Oscar Isaac’s Moon Knight Series

Marvel and Disney may have made a tactile error during Disney+ Day by forcing people to watch the streamer for any glimpse of their upcoming projects. Naturally, this also makes it difficult to share the brief video footage of Oscar Isaac’s Moon Knight series. Regardless, some fans have posted unauthorized videos of the teaser footage, which you can see below.

Within the video, Marc Spector (Isaac) struggles with the multiple identities in his mind. He may be mentally ill, but that doesn’t mean that he’s crazy. There’s also a brief glimpse of Moon Knight’s signature white costume as he beats someone up and leaps across the night sky.

Within the comic book realm, Marc Spector is the Fist of Khonshu, the Egyptian god of the Moon. However, it’s unknown if the mystic aspect of Moon Knight’s origin will be retained for the MCU. But it does appear that Spector’s tenuous grasp on his sanity is intact.

Ethan Hawke is also co-starring on this series as a cult leader who will go up against Moon Knight. May Calamawy also has a leading role, but her part has not been announced yet.

Four of Moon Knight‘s episodes were directed by Mohamed Diab, with the directing team of Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead taking the remaining two episodes. Disney+ hasn’t set a date for the show yet. However, a 2022 premiere seems likely.
