Marvel’s Future Power Man Brings the Ruckus in Timeless #1 First Look

Marvel Comics has released a first-look preview for the upcoming 2023 iteration of Timeless #1.

Set to hit comic shops in late December, Timeless #1 teams the writing duo of Collin Kelly and Jackson Lanzing with artist Juann Cabal. Featuring a cover by Kael Ngu, the future-set one-shot pits Power Man — the last surviving hero of the Marvel Universe — against the villainous Moon Knight Unending. At this time, Marvel has revealed five unlettered preview pages, in which the two powerful characters come to blows. (Or, more accurately, Power Man makes the souped-up Moon Knight his punching bag).

Check out the first-look preview for Timeless #1 below:

What is Timeless #1 about?

“In a devastating future born from the choices of today, all of time and space is threatened by the ascension of an ancient evil. The MOON KNIGHT UNENDING has risen — a nightmare born of StarkTech, the Eternal Machine and the God of the Moon — and now all of Earth bows before his overwhelming power!” the official synopsis for Timeless #1 reads.

“But one man stands against Khonshu’s coming tide of chaos: POWER MAN, the Marvel Universe’s final living super hero,” it continues. “But who is Power Man — and how did he come to wield the unstable powers of the Sentry, the Hulk and the Iron Fist? What dark, deeply personal conflict underpins this mind-bending apocalypse? And at the end of the line, can the Marvel Universe ever truly be saved?” The upcoming one-shot also features “a SHOCKING glimpse into the next year of Marvel stories!”

Timeless #1 goes on sale Wednesday, December 27 from Marvel Comics.
