Nick Creegan Joins the Cast of Batwoman Season 3

Earlier this month, Batwoman season 3 welcomed Robin Givens to its cast as a powerful CEO who is also very protective of her “impetuous” son. Now, we can finally put a face to this characterization. Deadline is reporting that Nick Creegan has booked his own role as a series regular in the upcoming season.

Creegan is playing Marquis Jet, a man who has gotten used to the cushy lifestyle afforded by the success of his mother, Jada. Described as a “sexy playboy,” Marquis is also “too charming for his own good and wields his power with a ne’er do well attitude.” His reckless and carefree attitude often puts him at odds with his mom’s no-nonsense demeanor. Regardless, he thinks he finds a kindred spirit in Ryan Wilder, who unbeknownst to him is also Batwoman.

Creegan is a relative newcomer to the industry. Most recently, he had a recurring role on Law & Order: Organized Crime. He also appeared in several episodes of David Makes Man, which premiered on OWN in 2019.

In addition to Creegan and Givens, the next season of Batwoman will also introduce Victoria Cartagena as Renee Montoya. Presumably, season 3 will show Ryan’s attempts to track down her birth mother after learning that she is still alive. The last shot of season 2 also teased that we might be seeing a few familiar Batman villains down the road, including Poison Ivy.

Batwoman season 3 will premiere on Wednesday, October 13 on The CW.
