Netflix Releases New Masters of the Universe: Revelation Images

Following this morning’s trailer reveal, Netflix is also offering more Eternia content with several new stills from Masters of the Universe: Revelation. The images feature several returning characters who appeared in the original Filmation series in 1983.

Aside from He-Man, the new photos offer fresh looks at the show’s supporting cast. He-Man’s loyal companion, Cringer, appears in one image, while others spotlight his human allies. Fans can see Sorceress in all her avian glory as well as the Trollan magician, Orko. Additionally, Teela is shown locked in battle with Evil-Lyn. And of course, we also get new glimpses at the series’ other villains, including Tri-Klops, Scare Glow, and the mighty Skeletor.

Netflix has also announced plans for an aftershow that lets the cast and crew dive into the making of Revelation. Showrunner and executive producer Kevin Smith will host the show alongside Mattel Television’s Rob David and actress Tiffany Smith, who voices Andra on the series. Other guests will include cast members like Mark Hamill, Chris Wood (He-Man), Sarah Michelle Gellar (Teela), Lena Headey (Evil-Lyn), Henry Rollins (Tri-Klops), Griffin Newman (Orko), Jason Mewes (Stinkor) and Alan Oppenheimer (Moss-Man).

Masters of the Universe: Revelation will premiere its first five episodes on Netflix on July 23. A release date for the second half of the season has yet to be announced.
