Adult Swim Debuts Rick and Morty Season 5 Trailer

The latest set of crazy adventures for Rick and Morty will return in Summer. And Adult Swim just debuted the official trailer for the fifth season of the show. The producers also revealed that the Emmy Award-winning animated series would return on June 20, declaring the date as Rick and Morty Day. On this newly established world celebration, the fans will be treated with “a megadose of access and content of all things” from the franchise. These include sneak peeks, behind-the-scenes footage, and special surprises across all media. The freshly released trailer for Rick and Morty features its share of irony, craziness, and more of the same that fans love from the saga, including a reference to Blade, among other things.

As always, and per the official description, “Rick and Morty is the award-winning half-hour animated hit comedy series on Adult Swim that follows a sociopathic genius scientist who drags his inherently timid grandson on insanely dangerous adventures across the universe. Rick Sanchez is living with his daughter Beth’s family and constantly bringing her, his son-in-law Jerry, granddaughter Summer, and grandson Morty into intergalactic escapades.”

The Rick and Morty cast includes Justin Roiland, Sarah Chalke, as well as Chris Parnell and Spencer Grammer. Dan Harmon created the series together with Roiland, with both serving as executive producers.

Rick and Morty Season 5 will debut on Adult Swim on June 20.
