Warning: There are spoilers ahead for this week’s episode of Harley Quinn!
Last week on Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy and Harley were arrested by Two-Face and his men. This week, the partners-in-crime had to escape their fate. DC Universe has released Harley Quinn Season 2 episode 7, and we want to hear what the Superhero Hype community thinks about it!
Two-Face put Harley and Ivy on trial, with Bane as the judge and Man-Bat as their lawyer. The thing is, Harley actually was guilty of killing the Penguin and targeting the Injustice League. However, Ivy had a chance to escape Harley’s fate by pinning it all on her. Instead, Ivy shared the blame and they were both sentenced to life in Bane’s prison pit. Harley and Ivy immediately made plans to escape by staging a riot during a prison talent show. Unfortunately, Harley broke Bane’s rules and he had her placed under guard.

In his own weird way, Bane was trying to help his prisoners make personal breakthroughs and overcome their issues. Ivy took that to heart during her failed stand-up comedy performance. Ivy simply wasn’t funny, but she was also honest in a way that moved the inmates. That led to a riot, while Harley took out her captor. But as Ivy and Harley neared the top of the pit, Bane held them back. Harley sacrificed herself so that Ivy could escape. Regardless, Ivy returned the favor and saved Harley’s life. Much to their mutual surprise, they then kissed each other.
Meanwhile, Batgirl’s alliance with Commissioner Gordon was on the rocks. Gordon’s drinking problem kept them from capturing Ratcatcher. Two-Face subsequently tried to kill the Gordons in their home. Gordon was so despondent that he almost let himself be killed. However, Barbara Gordon saved her father and outed herself as Batgirl. Inspired by his daughter’s example, Gordon cleaned himself up and took on Two-Face by himself. Against all odds, Gordon overcame Two-Face’s forces and he even locked up Harvey Dent.
